What is on a card?

  • Habit Heroes animals fall into 1 of 6 classes. This is shown by the symbol on the upper left corner of the animal art.

    • Bird

    • Mammal

    • Fish

    • Reptile

    • Amphibian

    • Invertebrate

  • Each animal’s diet is shown by the symbols in the top right corner of the card. Its preferred meal is the leftmost symbol and lesser preferred meal follows to the right. They are divided into 7 broad categories:

    • Meat

    • Fish

    • Insects

    • Plants

    • Seeds

    • Crustacean

    • Plankton

  • The background design on a card is a representation of the animal’s most common habitat. Up to 2 habitats can be seen on a card:

    • Forest

    • Sky

    • Water

    • Grassland

    • Dirt/Cave

    • Rainforest

    • Deep Sea

    • Tundra/Polar

    • Desert

  • The bottom right symbol color shows the Conservation Status of the animal.

    • Green is ‘Least Concern’,

    • Yellow is ‘Threatened/Endangered’

    • Red is ‘Critically Endangered’

  • The bottom right symbol is also an indicator of the card’s rarity. The decision behind what makes a card more rare than others is simply based on how unique, awesome, or precious we think the animal is.

    • Circle: Common

    • Triangle: Uncommon

    • Star: Rare

    • Splat: Ultra Rare
